An Ethnic Group is a collective entity defined by a shared sense of cultural identity, expressed through common elements such as language, ancestry, religion, traditions, historical experience, or social practices. Membership in an ethnic group may be based on self-identification e.g “of the Armenians”, external classification, or both. The boundaries of these groups can shift over time and across contexts.
